I would it's not so bad but I think it's only because I'm easily impressed by watercolors. But, I really like the shading on his. I can't say so much about his hair. I'm just glad it didn't turn out bad.
The background cannot be anymore horrid. I've forgotten what color were sunsets. I could of made him look more glowy from the sun. Mebbe.
Crit please. Screw antomy though.
And I know he should look a little dark because the sun IS behind him, I just didn't know what to do... Maybe help on this part.

I think a sunset would be more darker/vivid color but I've never truely watched a sunset sooooo O:
