ok so this took FOREVER to colour but I really love the way it came out. This is just some random mermaid I drew because I wanted to draw a mermaid. Her name is Selene.
O_O Wow. This looks just, AMAZING!!I love everything about it! The coloring, the concept the perspective... you did a really good job. This looks just SO wonderful. Even down to the little details of her tail and the water reflecting on her. Just perfect.
Finally, a mermaid who DOESN'T look like she's been drugged to be happy!
And, besides that, the coloring is expertly done, and the bg isn't lazy, and everything looks gorgeous...

I want this, You know i love the water. the coloring on this is so different then what i have seen you do. Where do i even start. The way you have the night time shading and the water refecting, and the way you did the water, and the trees, everything is so perfect! YOu know i have to MP this. I want it! Very nicely done. I love the background, probably because I'm background deficient. But the marker works is gorgeous the character even more so. It's nice to see a character not getting lost in the background or a focal point drawing you away from the character, and the reflection of the water onto her skin and the rock is perfect.
