Sands, my vampire/cat in his human form sitting at the Gates of the Feline world...so called...protecting the clan. Though he sits at the gates protecting the city...he is actually turning against them. Going over to the canine side of the world, Sands is helping the dogs in taking over the cat clan. Hating all of the cat clan except for his best friend, Isreal, Sands will glady help the sworn enemies of the felines to take over and kill off the cats without hesitation...but he would never hurt Isreal. In this picture, Sands is thinking about how he could sav Isreal from death...but if he asks him to help him take over the cat clan...he knows Isreal will turn on him and be filled with disgust and shock. Trying to ignore it...Sands carries on his work and finally when the canines move in for the attack after receiveing ways to infultrate the cat clan from Sands, they begin a war.
Finding out, Isreal is totally shocked by Sands' desicion and tries to stop him. Not wanting to fight his best friends, Isreal soon decides that he will do whatever it takes to stop Sands carrying on with the plans. Being weaker, smaller, and far younger then Sands, Isreal doesn't have a chance...but he sill tries. In doing so, he dies by the hands of his best friend, Sands. Sands is so shocked and horrified of what had happened he turns full of sorrow and insanity. Knowing that he would have to live the rest of his life knowing that he killed his best friend...Sands soon takes his own life and ends the insanity of one man's mind.

Aww, the explanation in the description is quite sad, your characters always have such interesting and well thought out backstories. Lovely work on the image too, I particularly like how you've drawn his eye and colored his hair, as well as all the details in his outfit.
