Kill Or Watch Them Die

How do you deal with a tragedy that hasn't been
You must continue your daily routine knowing what you've seen
The images will stay with you and cannot be forgotton
Then you stare at the ceiling, your pajamas cold and sodden
It all seemed so real even though it's obviously not
But the anthro rabbit seems to belong
You're obviously not a Slater, you don't know Johnny A
And yet when you shot him defending loved ones, your vision is not grey
You're taken away before there is a conclusion
So you get up fast with severe confusion
You find your loved ones checking no one's gone
Then check under your bed to make sure still hidden is your gun
You can't help but replay what you've seen
Then start praying to god it will only remain a dream

This was inspired by a dream I had last night. I'm not going to go into it because I plan to make a Flash animation of it (when I get better at flash). This dream has been playing on my mind all day and I pray it will stay as such, in fact I pray I may forget it soon.
