Matt is a 14 year old, and a lone. He doesn%u2019t have many friends at school, as he tends to be a smart aleck. He is smart, but extremely lazy, so he in constantly failing in school. The only thing he seems to be able to do is keep his job at the grocery store, though he doesn%u2019t actually try there either. He is the only one that really gets along with Enfer.

Tom is Matt%u2019s 15-year-old brother. Although they%u2019re related, they don%u2019t have many things in common. Tom has a few friends, but spends a lot of time hanging out with Matt. He%u2019s not that bright, but he makes up for it with his jokes. Tom is always fighting with Enfer, and they never see eye to eye. Tom works at Music Box, the local music store.

Enfer is a demon from Hell. After being banned from Hell, Enfer meets Matt, and the two instantly bond. Sadistic and grim, Enger passes off as a human named Julian Untervelt, by changing the color of his skin. Enfer can change his shape into almost anything humanoid, but he always keeps his signature red hair. Enfer%u2019s voice resembles Matt%u2019s because Enfer stole Matt%u2019s voice so he could communicate with him.

Richie is Matt%u2019s only real friend his age. Richie is short, lame, and extremely unfunny. But that doesn%u2019t stop him from trying. He works with Matt at the Grocery Store, and is always annoying him with lame jokes.

Anthony is the supervisor at the Grocery Store Matt works at. Matt is always calling him %u201CAnt%u201D or %u201CTony%u201D, which he hates. He hates Matt with a passion, and would love to fire him, but sadly, he doesn%u2019t have the authority. There is nothing he%u2019d love to do more than find out Matt%u2019s secret and reveal it to the world.

Lord Sowrkupf is this stories antagonist. He raised the portal to Hell, from which Enfer came, for his own sinister reasons. Little is know about him at all, but he hates Matt, Tom, and Enfer.
