okay this is something that has gone on for far too long and it really needs to stop... before i get into what im talking about heres a small history lesson...
deviant was created in 2000. it soon became one of the biggest FREE art hosts on the internet.
in 2003 sheezy was created as an "alternative internet art community."

so what have we learned about these gallerys? they both love art,they both are free art hosts and they both wanna keep internet harmony.
however recently that harmony has been disrupted by people who just HAD to open their mouths... im not gonna point any fingers here (seriously i wont do that) because BOTH! of the gallerys have been acting like children regarding one another.... im so sick of all the people on deviant going "sheezy is run by DA rejects'...oooh and people on sheezy dont think your so innocent...your just as bad syaing "pfft. the DA admins are prudes because they dont let me post my hard core porn! its freedom of speech!"..well i hate to burst BOTH galleries bubbles but i guess i have too....
people....this may come as a shcok to you guys... but DA and SA are NOT countries! they are art galleries!...NOTHING MORE! NOTHING LESS!!!!..its not a democracy, its not a dictatorship its not run by a czar,a kaiser,a king,a president..they are art gallries FREE art galleries and most (not all) of you people cant just be grateful for that can you?....nooo you have to bitch bitch bitch because you dont get your way....
BOTH galleries have their upsides and down sides... DA is very picky about nudity, but drug promotion runs rampant around here. SA, allows nudity (except if the chracters are under 18) but they DONT allow art promoting drugs.
DA is not homophobic a good portion of the DA admins are gay/bi themselfs.
SA is not run by DA rejects they are very hard working people taking their time to give aspireing artists more freedom to post their art.
both gallries are free and THEY control what goes on THEIR servers. and be GRATEFUL they allow YOU (the people) to use THEIR space for YOUR art...

and i am a proud member of BOTH places. and i thank them both for providing free space for me to post high quality/resolution art and i thank them for the friends iv made.

I couldn't agreee more with you. I am a fairly new member on both sites and have no problem with them. They are after all FREE sites, and if people can't abide by their rules, they can pay for a site where they can make the rules. There, I'm getting off my soapbox now.

I know each site has their things that suck and their things that rock. And moving just to one gallery X|--I still go to DA because some people only post there, so I can comment on that stuff. But as for where I post my own crap, I really don't think I'm depriving anyone of my shit by only posting in one place...but if you really WANT me to go ahead and post on DA, too, fine...you're one of the few that actually looks at it anyway
