OMG I DID A PROPER BACKGROUND!!!! Seriously, I don't think I've ever done that before...

Anyway, I was drawing just any random picture, but I thought it looked a bit like Pocahontas so it turned into a fan art piece.

The image is around 80% vectored and 20% hand drawn, so i put it in the vector art section anyway. Basically everything is vectored except for the trees in the background, the lines in the wood and the grass and maybe some other random little bits.

The original image was 4734 x 8100 pixels o_O omg it was so long doing a picture that big because it took forever to do one brush stroke....and saving...after a while, when I clicked 'save', I just went and watched tv for like 10mins because it really did take that long. Mind you, the file size of the original photoshop file was 212Mb...^^

PS. Pocahontas looks better full viewed, but Grandmother willow doesn't, so it's up to you whether you full view or not :b

proper backgrounds aint shit but yours IS super nice hahaha i would have liked this though anyways, even without one. are you gonna do more disney characters or this is it? btw i love how you did the subtle shadows and highlights on the skin

Very nice! You really captured the spirit of the movie with this fanart. The colors are perfect and I love the detial in the wood. Pocahantas looks beautiful.
