This is from a dream that I had. I was going somewhere with a white samurai, and he suggested that we take a shortcut through the zoo-like Reservation. As you can see, that wasn't one of his brightest ideas ever. We managed to find an exit that our undefined-species dinosaur friend could fit through, but the Gigantosaurus couldn't, and continued on our way.
I decided to do it in an ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock print) style. So, I researched it-- the style itself, armor, the appropriate flora which was the toughest part of the picture-- and the perspective they always use. The undefined-species dinosaur we were riding on was probably only gray, beige, and white, not at all parrotlike in rainbowiness, but where's the fun in that?
