Ok you guys may or may not know, probably the latter, that I really havn't been working on PixelColony. I just for one reason or another couldn't bring myself to update it.

Now why am I like this, who knows, but one thing I could blame is me thinking too much about features and trying to implement them all at once, thus a REALLY big to do list.

So to get myself into the mood I decided to update the basic blue layout, this is what I came up with in an hour, of course it may not look exactly like this (since this was done in photoshop) but it can't be far off.

So what would I like from you guys? Well for starters critique on the layout. Secondly what features should I aim for just so it's enough to release it. I mean basic features too not "ZOMG BATTLESYSTEM!1!". And for those of you that don't know what PixelColony is/will be, it's going to be a community much like GaiaOnline, just more focused (in my opinion) on roleplayers, you don't have to roleplay though, there will be features for those who wish to not participate in that.

So yeah, have at it!

Looks pretty good. Simple, but in a way that it looks professional.

OMG! BATTLESYSTEM FOR XE WIN!!!!

Nah, im kidding. Cant think of much stuff until you show off the rest of the pages really.

If you put the links under main menu in that horizontal bar right under the title, you will save much space.

Personally I would choose to not put the "report/quote" pieces of text in a bigger font. I'm not a fan of dropshadows either. But that's my bauhaus/minimalistic inspired "form follows content" opinion.

It is commercial and most people will like all thouse round forms and special stuffs. It just overwhelms in my eyes.

Good job!

Looks very nice. As what Jeff said, simple and clean and professional.
