I wish I knew why, while in an art slump, my pen doodles come out so much better than my pencil sketches. x__. Yeah, this was done while I was on my feet, listening to someone talk about Fitchburg State, with a crappy red pen. This is my newest character to date, Lyraeth, who belongs to a humanoid race distantly related to the cheetah, hence those spots at the back of her jaw and her neck.
There are some flaws, yes, but seeing as I didn't even have a proper writing surface, they're relatively minor. I must apologize for the lines; all I had was the notebook to sate my need for multitasking.
...I should also apologize for the crappy shading job I did. It was a feeble effort to cover up the obnoxious little lines I accidentally put in her nose while drawing her hair.

I love her eye...and the hair... EVERYTHING *-* And the shading looks nice too. If you wouldn't have said anything about it being a cover-up for the lines from the hair... I never would have known!
