"'Why don't you just make some more armor, Iorek Byrnison?'
'Because it's worthless,' he said. 'My armor is made of sky iron, made for me. A bear's armor is his soul, just as your daemon is your soul. You might as well take him away and replace him with a doll full of sawdust. That is the difference. Now, where is my armor?'" -Philip Pullman "Armor" The Golden Compass

Ok, I will comment on this one, simply because I love Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials series, and I feel that this fully does Iorek justice, I can almost immagine him in this picture freezing on some bloodmoss to close the wounds where his armour couldn't protect him.
Many Congratulations and much Praise for you sir!

I never commented on this one on DA, so I'll give ya a quick comment on here...:) It is a very lovely and somewhat dreamy scene, and you drew it beautifully. It also reflects a little sadness, but I do love the emotion of it. I wish I could say more, but I have no time to comment more, as I have the spring show to get to about now
See ya there Chelsea..

I don't like to read at all, but his books, I'd read any day of the week. Awesome work, I loved how you attached part of the story to the image.
