Three Chords and the Truth

There's only one way I know to get my mind off of all of the huge life-changing tests I have to take in the coming week. And that's painting. There's nothing like painting to soothe your soul. Unfortunately, I can't paint. So I cheat and use Photoshop instead. It's a lot less messy that way. No cleaning up. No staining the carpet. No turning your hand pink. Nice and clean.

There's not actually only one way I know to get my mind off huge tests. There's two. The second is music. Beautiful beautiful music. So how about beautiful men playing beautiful music? That's fantastic.

So I utilized the two ways I know as I can't bear to submit myself to even more studying and painted the most beautiful, the most pretentious, the most caring, and the most entirely backwards man I can think of who just happens to write some of the most beautiful music I've heard.

I'd like to commemorate this as the first time I've made a painting that actually turned out as I wanted it to. Apparently, using the reference and not just making junk up actually helps o.0 Who woulda thought.....
