"Tegan. Seriously. Youve got to grow up sometime. Youre living in this dream world, and its not cool. Youre 17. When are you going to realize that the world is not music?" Adelaine tossed a box of cds onto her brother's bed.
Tegan glared at his twin sister. "Since when do YOU know more about the world than I do, Adelaine? Yes, lets GET SERIOUS. Who's the one that pays for your enviro-camps, your books, and anything you ask me for? Who's the one that found us this place after mom died? You want to get real?"
Tegan lit a cigarette.
"We can get real if you'd like, Adelaine. But its going to take a little more than visiting zoos and feeding the homeless."
Tegan stood up and unwrapped the headphones from around his neck.
"Tegan, what are you talking about anyways?" Adelaine asked with a puzzled face.
Tegan raised his eyebrow and smirked. "Tomorrow I'm going to take you down to the warehouse and show you what really happened to dad."
