I really like this piece a lot, but most people don't take much notice of it. Maybe not enough contract? I don't know. I do have plans to paint this when I learn a little more. Drawn from no reference, except for the mermaid's back. Also, she's supposed to be long-bodied. She's not half-fish, but half-eel. I like eels. Pencil only. 2004

oh my!! It does get kinda lost but it's a wonderful concept! ... actually I take back what I said about it getting lost... I just didn't see it in full view... but now as I look at it it's very well done.
