This piece is very special to me because of the meaning it holds. As I prepared to serve a misison for my church, I spent three weeks at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, immersed in gospel. My spirit yearned for so much more than my physical mind was able to comprehend and this piece was born. The horse, like me, longs to see so much more, to move beyond where he is and what he is capable of doing.
Please, be nice. I know things are off with the horse. I didn't have any reference available. Drawn on lined paper (as that's all I had) over a two week period. Pencil only. 2004

Wow, that is simply fabulous. To be done without a reference for the horse and still look so correctly proportioned with what looks to be a fairly difficult pose is just astounding! fav!!!
