The lines were drawn on cheap lined paper with a cheap pencil and outlined with a Stabilo 0.3mm black fine writer... done whilst I was board in an Electronics Class...
All the colours and shading ect were done in Photoshop 7

Definitely liking the bold, clean lines there!
I find it a bit odd that his stripe went into his nostril. 
But he's still the awesome! Is he part of your comic?
