Well this is my first acrylic painting that I have ever done and the scanner killed it. O well. I am still pretty happy with it. You just can't see all of the tones of brown on the screen as much as you can see in the original. It was created for my acrylic painting class and I just got it back. The assignment was to set up a still life and paint it. At the time I have just gotten the big blue horse from my boy friend omega_reddragon for valentines day so I just had to have that in there. The rest was set up around it.
This is acrylic paint on 16 by 20 canvas. Stretched in myself.

and don't you mean "Tones of brown" rather than "Towns of brown"?

This looks amazing. I love the fuzzy manes. I can't do anything with acrylics, so I'm especiialy appreciative of this.

My gosh, when, tell me when! When have the scanners ever (or will ever for that matter) give us what we want?
