I'm suffering from insomnia so bad lately. So I did this picture to express how I feel. It's a real-life painting, on real-life bristol board. :)

It's of rather poor quality, because it's a picture taken with a digital camera of the painting. The painting is 14"x17", and quite a bit more detailed than this picture shows. There are a great deal of subtleties to notice if you look at it long enough. I'm enormously proud of this painting.

Yeah, I feel for you. I'm a sufferer of insomnia as well, along with minor episodes of Alice-in-Wonderland syndrome. Kids are supposed to be the main group of experiencers, though, so what does that say about me? Excellent pic, not just in how much it expresses, but in the quality. It's really well painted, especially the moon.

i concur... i have a nasty time trying to fall asleep too.
i have to admit, my first thought with this picture was "GOLLUM!" but i can totally see how sleep deprivation changes one into that sort of creature

Beauty. I adore the mouth and the hands.

I hope your insomnia gets better... I think?

I like this! VERY expressive!! I can't help but think that it looks like one of the critters from one of my games but that's not a bad thing.
