Releasing Dreams

This picture was done for last semester in my colored pencil class. I had thought I lost it somewhere so I am very relieved to have found it again. The assignment was to try to demonstrate distance and I only had a week to finish it. Considering the time restrictions I am pretty happy with it. O and can you tell that I like bubbles?

Most of you can probably tell me who this character is but for those of you whom I am just getting to know he named Gizz. I originally created him for a short series of fairy pictures and then I fell in love with him. The bubble thing is just part of the story I have been attempting to write about him.

This piece was done completely in prisma colored pencils on smooth Bristol paper.
