It's gotten to the point where these rants are unoriginal as well. Frankly, this issue isn't worth getting angry over. Why don't do vent you anger on something usefull like the President?
And, as for what were talking about, I don't like the idea of the Otaku. It's becoming more and more treated like a "style," like emo, goth, and punk. People are starting to like anime, act Japanese, and speak Japanese simply because they want feel belonged to a social order. But, in some cases, people really love Japanese culture. What's wrong with favoring another culture over you're own? And I'm not just talking about Americans liking the Japanese culture, what's wrong with South American's liking the Russian culture?
