The very first watercolor illustration that I've done since joining the Art Students League of New York in the early part of February. I never expected much from the medium, so that might explain why I was so personally impressed with the end result.
As for the paper I used, from what I remember, when it comes to watercolor, it really does depend on the papers absorbency. The class professor gave me a particularly heavy type of watercolor paper, or maybe a bristol for the class. I don't know offhand the weight, but I wrote it on the back of that one, so I can look it up if need be.
