There's a lot of detail lost because I've had to reduce his wonderful 11 x 17 inch pictures down to a size small enough to print on 9 x 12 inch Bristol. Resizing for web also did murderous things (extreme pixellation) to this picture.
Technical pens, No. 2 round brush, No. 2 flat brush and Hunt 108 Crow Quill nib with Higgins waterproof black ink on Bristol
Batman is owned by DC Comics and I'm not making any profit on this.

Oh, man! Such fantastic inking work here--it really brings out the gloomy atmosphere that Gotham is well-known for! And Batman looks so menacing! Great work!
I love that sketchy look that you've given it. It almost looks like it's been rendered in charcoal, and it has that great gritty, smoky, congested atmosphere...I think that makes Gotham really come to life despite the slick Art Deco feeling that Batman obligatorily has. Excellent work!

Great job on the building details in panel 1... One question though: is this centered around any particular storyline such as "Contagion" or "No Man's Land"? It just reminded me of them...
