Yeah... I don't like talking about myself. I've become more comfortable, but being Chiadro also makes it easier; most of the people who know the author don't know Chiadro and vice versa. The first category includes the people I see on a daily basis. I worry that if my family saw this website and knew I made it they'd try to get me therapy.

Unrelated, here's a classic anthropological account of an unusual culture that's a fun read.

icarus Says:

actually the whole concept of your daily self and your secret self is prettymuch the norm in japan.

frankly most people in OTHER cultures do it too, it's just not widely accepted. like americans are in denial that they do anything but show who they are on their sleeves. go figure.

I really like the layout. .. it's super ooper effective.

stephko Says:

I honestly think sometimes theres way too much damn anlyzation over mistakes, problems and conflicts in this kind of day. Some of us just need to "live".
Theres always the constant arguement of self viewed by others and then "self" viewed by you. Is it really thought? Science? Recently they found that electrons change when they're being monitored. But in troubles and toils, release/ease can be accomplished in various ways, thus why extend another persona of ourselves to people we never really know. Similiarties, but not the same experience. More so, no experience will ever be the same. And theres nothing wrong with that.

In all this jaron, I'd like to note how much I dislike psychologists. Theres a lot of people that need help out there, but I think today we just take it too damn far.

I especially like the shading on the curled up posistion as well

kuroshiro Says:

The therapist is a fox. ... heheheh. My sentiments exactly.

On the totally unrelated anthropological essay of the Nacirema...that thing had me laughing my head off. Reminded me of the ASU and the strange culture surrounding the rac.
