I felt like drawing my main character on here as an anthro. Mostly inspired by goldenSalamandera's rendition of digitalrex 's character, http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26590366/ , Flaming Touch on deviantart. Plus mage really deserves more attention then what I giver her considering she is the character that I believe represents me the most for multiple reasons. Most horse anthros come out looking rather aucward to me and up until now I haven't had much hope for drawing them myself.

There was a time when I could play one of those. Then the band teacher got on my (and everybody elses nerves), and I dropped out of band (along with the majority of it). I don't regret dropping out but I wish I could still play the flute. Oh well, I've still got the harmonica.

Nice work, especially around the head. However, I noticed that with your inking, you're going too fast, and that's leaving little hooks at the ends of your lines. Hooks like that make a picture look kind of sloppy, plus it disrupts the smoothness. You can also tell you were working at a fast pace by looking at the stippling - the dots are little messy and some are more like tiny lines than dots. Slow it down next time, and I can almost garuntee that your picture will turn out better, looking smoother and more professional.

Other than that, though, great work! You have an excellent hand for shading. The shadows here are strong, as are the highlights, and it gives a definite impression of depth and lighting.
