I'm on something of a realism kick at the moment, so bear with me--I know these are not terribly interesting.
Anyway, no reference on this one either, just messing around with the painting options in Open Canvas again only this was done in watercolor instead of with the airbrush. I don't draw birds often, so I was curious to see how close to reality I could get the griffe to look.
His face is all squashed.
