Just experimenting w/ sculpey. I wanted to create something smaller than a full-size sculpt because I'm getting a sample size moldmaking kit. I'll be using this guy to make my first mold.

2.5" tall, wire/foil armature.

And don't worry, the next sculpture I do won't be a pit bull, or even a dog. :)

Wish me luck on the moldmaking! Knowing me, it will probably be a total disaster.

Hm. Mold-making? ...?

I've been wanting to get into that as well since I also like to work with sculpey but when I try to send a piece to someone, etc. the details break off.. : /

Are you going to try making a resin or some other kind of casting from your molds or more sculpey?

What material are you going to use for the molds..? I was thinking something flexible like a rubber mold might work best with sculpey but were you going to use something different?

Heh, sorry to ask so much.. I appreciate in advance if you answer my questions. (and if you don't feel like it, that's fine too of course : ) )

Either way, keep in touch - we could probably learn from each other along the way in figuring out all of this, no? : )
