So I'm the king
of all these things
and all the shit
that you bring

This has to end
cuz I've got to mend
and I'd hate to be
struck hard again

You've got to cease
you're harsh release
because I need
some time of peace

Well fuck this crown
it pulls me down
and pushes me
until I drown

just take it back
and fade to black
just go away
and dont look back

I gave it up
cuz it got rough
getting pushed down
I'd had enough

Now I look around
without a frown
because of the peace
I've finally found

There's no more pain
left from your reign
now I can mend
and start over again

So now im free
of all those things
and all that shit
that you used to bring

Ever have contempt for someone...who says they hold you so high yet, they treat you like shit?

I am not going through this now... just to let everyone know who might ask.

I've found I have alot of built up emotions from past relationships.. so some of my recent and soon to come stuff will reflect that.

Cool. I like how the crown relates the unwanted respect. Like you were made king but it was heavy and unwanted. and by meantioning the crown it can quickly take us back to that feeling. Isnt that a symbol? or something...
