Blackjack, Soul and Shade staring off at something.
Ok, not my bestest linework and Shade went a bit wrong (plus it looks like he got his hands on a big tub of hairspray!). This was an experiment - I shaded the picture with grey markers, and then added colour and some highlights (and a background) on the computer. I'm trying to decide whether I like the grainy effect of the markers or not. What do you guys think?

I like the grainy effect, and the whole idea behind how you did it. The only place I dislike the grained effect is on Shade's lower back where it gets out of the subtle texture area.
^^ Other than that its grand...and it makes me marvel at the wonders of supreme hairspray xP

I think it looks really awesome! The grainy effect, well you cant really do anything about that, unless you get that smooth type of paper, then you wont have to worry about it.
But, over all, it looks cool!
