Inunotaishou and Izayoyi

This picture really elicits a wired response from me. I know this sound funny, but it's both makes me happy and angry at the same time. Happy because it's an adorable romance, but angry because I know that Sesshoumaru gets pushed to second best, and third priority here. It's always extremely hurtful when a parent remarries after being widowed. Yes, they should find happiness, but on the other hand, what ever happened to only ONE significant other? And what does that child feel? How does Sesshoumaru feel that he is half of something his father wants to forget? Or half of something that his father replaced?
Just recently I watched the 3rd movie. Well, I actually watched it a long time ago, but I like watching it over and over... and well 2 things that happened in the moive really hit me bad because of the lack of family values that existed at that time, as well as today. It's depressing because being a Wolf totem under the "Dog family", family is EVERYTHING for us. And it smacked me like a ton of bricks.
However, going back and re-watching the movie, I can't tell if I'm getting desensitized, or maybe the initial shocker of it all went over bad, but I do love the movie, however I still feel for Sessh and Inu.
Darn boys... can't you just get a long?!?
