Description

Well, here you have it. I was hoping to kinda appease other kinds of fans (in addition to MCR, Green Day and Johnny Depp fans ) This one I spent about 20+ hours on. I did most of it with a mechanical pencil. That's probably why it took so long. I'm guessing each lock of hair on Natalie Portman took 20 minutes each. They were fun until I started the 20th one. Anakin's hair was a biotch to do. I've never done spiked hair, so that was something new. I was really unnerved that this drawing mostly is a study on hair. I love doing face studies, but this one ended up being all about hair. Not happy with the background, but the curls make up for it.
Did some of it on the plane. Thank God that the flight was smooth. However, I vow to never leave my drawings on a clipboard in my backpack. The corners got all bent outta shape. Geez. *fume* Overall, I'm fairly pleased with how it came out.
Well, hope you likey. :)

Materials:
Derwent pencils
Tortillion

Sorry Q-tip fans. I totally forgot that they were game.

Wow, that shading is so smooth and beautiful... And the characters are very recognizable. Wonderful work!

Dolce Says:

I knew it was these two right away, their facial features are exactly perfect! I'm envious because that's what I really have trouble with when it comes to realism. Natalie's curls are beautiful, it was definetly worth the time.

This is the most realistic picture you've drawn. The facial features are PERFECT!!!

Well I find that just a plain and simple Mechanical pencil has the best control...suits my needs perfectly. Even though it take a while to do what you need...that slow process makes it so you can slow your mind down to the point where its easyer to add fine detail. This picture of yours just about proved that. Good work^^
