An interesting thing: the background shape almost looks like a caressing hand. Why's that? Because it was supposed to have a hand there! But my current phobia of doing hands prevented me from coloring it in.
I love adding outlines, it's easy and can really bring the piece together. Cross between cartoony and realism.
