This is an attempt to show Chapter XIII of The Way of the Shadow Blade ("The Child Beneath the Mask"), in the only way that respects the bravery of what's done.
The title comes from Dream Theater's song "These Walls," which is an eerie fit to that chapter.
This is a WIP. You will not hurt my feelings in the slightest if you say I should scrap this entirely and start over. Or, if you think I can continue with this one, please give me any pointers you can think of on how to flesh it out sort of convincingly.
I'm not sure that's how I want the pose to be for the hands on the left. That character is supposed to be very scared, and I don't think that pose conveys it very well...the character on the right is trying to calm him.
The character on the left is a middle-aged man; the character on the right is a nearly 15-year-old girl.

That actually looks very good, in my opinion. You draw hands really well. I'm no artist, and I don't see anything to point out, so I'll leave it at that.

The hand of the girl seems a bit wrong
the part between where the fingers start and the wrist (fear my horrible explanations! XP) should be a bit longer 
further i think it looks fine!
