This is a portait of my father I drew a few years ago. It is one on my personal favorites. I think it is a favorite because I tried not to use so much detail, but instead tell the story with the face.

Oh wow, i love everything about this! The colour, the use of light, the composition, the emotion, all completely amazing. Its portraits like this that give me a big kick up the bum to keep on practicing and practicing in the hope that i could eventually do something like this.
