Part of my art100, theme being sound. This is my original character, Runway, playing the violin. He's a gifted musician who can play nearly any instrument, but sadly is plagued by Schizophrenia. I imagined in this picture that he just picked up a violin someplace and just started to play it.
Sketch done in Opencanvas, coloring in Painter 9. Done with a wacom tablet. Kind of messy, but trying out a new CG style, and also I'm tired so whoo, yeah.
The hand is a nightmare, but nothing I do fixes it so I just gave up.
