It first spawned from a misunderstanding. A friend had 'TRANCE!' in her msn screen name, and I went, "YEAH!" because I had been playing Final Fantasy 9 all summer and so love it so (Trance is like the limit break or summat where you go super shiny and stuff once your gauge fills). Alas, she was talking about trance MUSIC.
I swore I'd get all the characters trancing, but summer proved too short and my attention span waning.
Zidane gets no respect. He gets to be my favourite FF protagonist on the sole fact that he doesn't angst horribly. Also, think of all the things you could do with a tail. Adorable.
