Awww, yeah, Nico! Possibly my favorite character from
Runaways, though I
do have a hard time saying for certain. She seems to have her head screwed on a little tighter than the rest of them. Less teenage angst....which is a very good thing.
Nico Minoru. Seemingly normal teenager who discovers that her parents are actually a pair of dark wizards. Sort of an irony-upon-irony, as she's a church-going girl. She's still not sure how to make it all mesh together. I'm interested in how it'll play out. I
loved the latest issue (Series II, #10) when she started quoting the Bible at that clueless priest.
"When blood is shed" (Hers, that is.) the magic Staff of One will pop out of her chest, and she can cast spells. Catch! She can only cast the same spell
once, so she's gotta be creative coming up with new things. It's fun.
