Allow me to explain myself.

See, come December, Mel Brooks is going to release a remake of his classic, "The Producers." For those unfamiliar with the movie, a washed-up producer and his accountant plot a scheme to get rich: gather a lot of funding from investors, then open the worst play ever on Broadway; they keep the profits and head off to Rio. They decide on the play, "Springtime for Hitler," which is supposed to be very flattering to the Führer. They gather the worst director, the worst actors, the worst everything. Suddenly, to their dismay, Springtime for Hitler is a hit; people think it's so bad, it's great.

Anyway, you're probably wondering, "What does this have to do with the Lion King?" Well, here's where there's more explaining to do. See, playing the role of Max Bialystock (The producer) is Nathan Lane, the voice of Timon. Playing the role of Leo Bloom (Max's accountant) is Matthew Broderick, the voice of older Simba. (His young form's used here for proportion reasons.) Disney would never let such a movie happen, so you'll just have to pretend with this poster. Speaking of which, I had originally intended this pic to be bigger, but I couldn't do that without making Timon bigger, which probably wouldn't have looked right. (Doesn't look too right as is anyway. Oh well...)

I guess it's another one to add to the "crossover" series I've done. Sam Bakza & Zelda, Star Fox & Green Day, Timon and Pumbaa & Jay and Silent Bob. (Oh, but um, you haven't seen that last one.) Who knows what the future may hold for these silly ideas?

...and this is the longest description I've ever written.
