Forgive and forget is easier said than done,
Lost remnants of a fading reality
Spiraling down into a dark era.
And so we lost, and so we lost,
I pretended not to notice
And stared far out the small window.
I turned my tear stricken face towards
The ever-changing blue sky,
Murmuring all the words you once spoke to me with such sincerity
Whispering sadly to myself the phrase that stayed with me
Even since that night...
Just a little poem for old times sake!!
