Moonlit Glass...

Here is my finished at home project for my studio art class. This is the first time I've used chalk. I will not be the last I can assure you. It was alot of fun. The water and moon were done in pencil. The ground/grass and 'trees' were done in marker. The sky was done in soft pastel chalk. I feel that this is one of my most fantastic pieces... and gomen LunaChan... I won't let you keep this one. This one is going into my portfolio, and is staying in there.
Tomorrow I'm go take it go school, and I get to present it to my studio art classmates... *takes a deep breath* I'm excited and a bit frightened about it. As much as every post on here is kind of a presentation of my work... this is in text, not standing in front of some people that are most likely more skilled than you are in their own ways... Not to mention they might think it hillarious as it's a wolf that has more than one tail and a pair of wings... if they even see that... They may not even realize that the colors for the water and figure were especially chosen so that it would look like a reflection of my dear sister's solidifying form aglow in moonlight upon the lake she just came forth from, so bright and beautiful that the stars hide themselves in respect toward her as the moon provides such grace a spotlight.

I chose to draw this (or rather put up as an option to do this for the project) because I wish to honor my sister, as she and I have been through quite a bit together. And I like to spoil her and finally am getting chances to do so. ^.~
