Majo-chan's Inuyasha - Colored

This piece was a practice in digital coloring... please note that I *DID NOT* draw this picture; I merely colored it digitally with Adobe Photoshop. Majo-chan was kind enough to let me color her beautiful linework, which can be viewed HERE!

Don't be too harsh with the criticism; this is my FIRST serious digital coloring! I finally decided to try my hand at digital coloring again (after I tried once several years ago when I didn't know how Photoshop worked, and quit immediately). For the most part I'm happy with it... I've gotten a lot better at dull/subtle color choice recently, and I used a fair number of digital techniques (namely, using TONS AND TONS of layers) that I learned over the years. I'm thinking that the "lens flare" filter on the tetsaiga blade might be a little extraneous... but oh well, I'm keeping it in.
