Chapter 16

The final floor in the Temple of Nasuran: Sunday, 12:07 AM

"Justice." says Cream, "So, you finally show yourself." "So my former minion," says Justice, "you have done quite well. Without your's or Necros' help, I wouldn't have the Sword of Hell now." "Enjoy it while you can." says Cream, "An evil such as you shouldn't have the sword. I'll take it from you, as well as your life!" Cream fires off her rope spear, but the top bounces off Justice's hard skin. He grabs the rope, and tosses it aside, with Cream still holding it. Cream is knocked into a wall. "You weak fools." says Justice, "Your powers are no match for mine now. And you don't have the help of that warrior now Cream." At that moment, Justice, using the sword's power, starts to change into a demonic form. "I was such a fool!" Rose thinks to herself. "My thoughts of revenge blinded me to the truth. He used me to get the swords!" "Wait," says Krystal, "I though only female warriors can use the swords?!?!?" "When the swords are combined together again," says Char, "Anyone can use it's power." "Now I am almost at full power." says Justice, "All I need now is the souls of you four to fuel my new power."

"Not this time!" says Cream. She runs up, and tries to punch Justice. Justice grabs Cream's fist, crushes the gauntlet on her arm, and flings her away. Cream tries to get up, but Justice flies into the air, and lands on her back. Char picks up the crossbow, and fires off a few shots at Justice. They stop in midair, and are fired back at her. Char manages to move out of the way just in time to avoid them. Rose fires off electrical attacks, and Krystal fires off her blaster. But Justice is unaffected by them. He waves his arm, and an energy blast knockes all three warriors to the walls. He then grabs Cream by the neck and lifts her into the air. "Do you now see how weak you are?" says Justice, "Don't worry, it will all be over soon." Cream starts to laugh. "What are you laughing about?" says Justice. "You underestimate me my former master." says Cream, "Things have changed since you were cast in stone." All of a sudden, runes start to apear all over Cream's body. A massive force pushes Justice back into the wall. As the light dissapears, Cream has turned into her Zyon form. "What is this?!?!?" says Justice. "Divine power." says Cream, "It has been lying domant in me all this time. This is the face of your final hour." "NEVER!" says Justice, "I WILL CAST YOU ALL INTO THE ABYSS!!!!!" Justice casts a transport spell, sending him, Cream, Char, Krystal, and Rose into a void.

As they float in the dark void, Justice starts to gather energy. "You're divine powers have no effect in this place!" says Justice, "While my power grows. You shall die here and now!" Cream feels the truth in his words as she feels her divine power draining from her. "FUCK!" Cream thinks to herself, "What can I do?!?!?" "You can lose hope so easly, can't you?" says a voice in Cream's head. "What?" Cream thinks to herself. "Who is this? I thought I blocked all telepathic comunication?" "This is a link between goddesses." says the voice, "We never have met, but I know of you. I can help you. There is a spell that you can use to destroy this demon once and for all. Alone, you are powerless. But together, with your friends, you can beat him. Gather their energy, and use it to strike him down." "I'll try." says Cream, "My friends, and whatever Char is, please lend me your power. We only have one shot at this."

Cream's cry for help is heard by the three warriors in the void, as well as those still in the tower. Cream reaches out, and starts a divine destroyer spell, gathering energy from her friends. "You think if you pool your power together you have a chance at destroying me?" says Justice, "Your powers are no match for mine now!" Justice gathers more energy from the void. "THIS END NOW JUSTICE!" says Cream, "AFTER ELEVEN YEAR OF SUFFERING, AND ENDLESS NIGHTMARES, I WILL FINALLY PUT YOU TO AN END! ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!" "YOU HAVE NO CHANCE!" says Justice, "I WILL DEVOWER ALL YOUR SOULS, AND RULE ALL REALMS WITH AN IRON FIST! DARK VOID INFERNO!!!!!" "DIVINE DESTROYER!!!!"

After the massive blast, Cream, Justice, Char, Krystal, and Rose appear back in the top of the Temple of Nasuran. Cream falls to the ground due to lack of energy. "N... n... No!" says Justice, "I.... I can't.... be destroyed.... yet! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" And with that, the Gear Justice disolves into nothingness. The Sword of Hell splits back into the four Dark Sabers. Cream gets back up to her feet, and the sun starts to shine through the windows of the temple. "After all this time," says Cream. A smile on her face, and a tear in her eye. "I'm finally freed from him. My family has been avenged. It's all over at last." The three make their way down to the entrance of the temple, where their friend Madison, Shimei, Kagura, Ayako, Ayane, and Waspinator wait for them. "I thank you all." says Cream, "If it wasn't for you lending your energy to me, I couldn't have finaly ended this."

"I see." says Ryofu who is watching from a distance from where no one sees her. "Things have changed. For the better. I guess it's time I find a purpose for my new life." She then walks off into the distance.

Back on the space transport Dark Shadows: 8:15 A.M.

"I still feel it." says Krystal, as she turns back to her normal self. "I think I change into a human at will now. But, this will not pull me down. I must protect my Dark Saber, as well as all of you. I hope to see you all again." Krystal jumps into her ship, and flies off back to her home. "At least she has somewhere to go to." says Rose, "I have no home now, no family, nowhere to go....." "Listen, Rose," says Cream, "We are almost like sister you and I. I ask you to stay with me. I'm sure that Urd wouldn't mind." "Really?" says Rose, "Thank you Cream." "You're welcome." says Cream, "But still, who spoke to me back there? She saved us all. But, who is she? She seem, familiar......"

Somewhere else.

"Urd." the woman says to herself, "I guess I might be seeing you and Skuld very soon. After all it's been some time since I've seen my sisters."
