I like the scale pattern you've started on his shoulder and where the wing starts.
Opposite of a winter dragon, must be a summer dagon then. Looks cool. After examining a bit it looks a lot like an alien dinosaur with human eyes to me. Probably not what you wanted to hear, eh?
I really like the coloring in this, especially the texture of the whole picture.
