Haliestra has been way overdue for a feature IMO. Her pencilwork and traditional art skills completely blow me away as does her ability to put so much emotion into one piece. Coloured Faery is a perfect example of both her mastery of traditional and digital arts.
I love how the colors worked on this- Usually when people try to color their pencil art it doesnt work.
But your version captured the texture and warmth that was in the original.

i love this image, its beautiful.
however, to be honest, im not sure i like how sharpened, how crisp, the image itself is. i always imagined a really soft image, ya know? either way its the best thing ive seen. like. ever. :3
