My second peice of space art for you lot to view! I like this one alot more than my last, this is by far my best work to date and i hope you all like it.
It's meant to represent a type of black hole, it's consuming lots of space dust and matter, yet the planets are unaffected. Originally i was going to do the planets themselves being distorted and sucked in, while colliding with each other as they got tucked close.. but that's a bit much for my second project... maybe some day :) Besides, i kinda like the idea of a weak black hole and i'm pretty sure it would wipe out any inhabitants of the planet anyway, it's just not what i originally intended. The clouds are meant to look over-warped as well, just my idea of what would happen if a planet like this were to be sucked strongly one way, but not enough to be moved from its spot. I didn't really pull it off lol, so they're just there for decoration
Enjoy it, this is part of my coursework as well :)

I have to say, this is done very well. Impressive detail and all.
I always thought black holes spurt out on both sides, giving it the sort of a spinner look. Still, pretty cool.
