O-kaaay. First the technical stuff. STILL struggling with anatomy... ;.; Suppose it's a fight that never ends. :giggle: Look, look! My style changed a bit, I'm trying at bits of realism... shiny skin is cool And I'm working on folds too... X_x AND please please please ignore the fact the markings in the cross are not identical... ;.; OC was being a bitch at me... I had to do them by hand.

So, what do you need to know to draw Kanya?

We'll start from the name, okay? The kanji is 怒り寒夜 (いかりかんや - please keep in mind this is the Eastern order of the name. Ikari is family name, Kanya is given name, okay? As for the meaning... let's see. 怒り means anger; hatred - but originally, it was used as messenger. You are free to interpret it in whatever way you find more likeable. 寒夜 - it's from two kanji: first is for cold, and the second means night. Why did I choose this name? Hehe... a very close friend of mine suggested it... and I value her advice very much, so I used it.

I already mentioned that her name was originally a bit different - so, here is a bit of history about this chara of mine. I remember I drew her first picture ... over a year ago. Year and a half ago, I think... back then, she was a random chara, a random Pokémon trainer (it's the Kanya&ichu picture you can see in my gallery). However, I don't remeber anymore when I made her into what she's today... Actually, I think it wasn't me - it was LIFE who made all th changes on my charas. All my female charas express one side of my personality: Nakami: the friend of mine, someone who's been guiding me for many years... she's me... and she's not me. Usually can be seen grunting about everything nad stuff, but... you don't need to go too deep inside to see that she's not from this world. Then there's Bakaneko: ful of playfulness, constantly playing jokes on someone, and, of course, a big fan of everything ecchi. She's just silly. But because she's half a cat... she can never fit anywhere... Poor girl... Next, there's me - just everyday plain me. The main chara that connects the other three. My personality? Well... I don't want to make this description any longer, you know... And then, Kanya. She reflects the battle of good and evil that's in each and every one of us... she lives in a constant struggle, never knowing what happens next... and the only person with who she could find some peace is gone now. But there's something that just keeps her going - after all, you never know what is waiting over the next corner.

Okay, okay. What do I REALLY need to know to draw Kanya?

Well, I suppose you are asking about her physical appearance, aren't you? I'll say only the important things here. First, her eyes - part is dark and part is very bright, and I will NOT be impressed if you change this. Next, wings. Angelic wings - you don't have to draw them of you don't want. But if you do, please keep in mind that the right wing is black and the left wing is white - and don't forget, it's mirrored... look at some pictures for my gallery if you can't get this straight. Then there's her cross. The marks on it light up only if she feels some strong emotions... and that is a VERY rare thing for her - I'd prefer you ask me for my permission if you want to draw the marks. The cross is on back of her neck - and it's meaning? Well... I can't tell you everything, can I? *smiles*

And that's all. Oh, and a message for you all.
