I tried a couple of different things with this older sketch. I used the original pencil lines instead of actually inking it. However, I want to learn how to make those lines THINNER and more solid...so they don't look so grainy...
If anyone has any tips, please tell me

if you use ps ... then maybe use paths for the lines - that's how i do it and with the brush .. then lines are then really smooth ...

you may already do this in part but if you have photoshop then when you have your image scanned and very clean go to channels and press the dotted circle and invert the selection. You will now have your lines selected. Use black to fill and fill more than once and this will at least strengthen the lines. If they are still grainy then you can use levels to smooth them out?
; I used to work with pencil lines all the tmes and thats how I done it.
Just a quick suggestion
