I did this in the same summer as my paintings in my wheel-throwing class. The first time I did wheel-throwing, it came out looking like an anthill. This is the last of my pottery in that class and I refer to it as my pride-and-joy pot as it was my best. It was dipped in David's Blue glaze, then splattered with Opaque Black and Plum glaze. I realize that its edges are uneven and it looks out of porportion, but this was made over a five-day learning period. If I've read the date incised on its bottom, it was finished June 23, 2004.
