Shaking off normalcy

When everything is looking dreary
and the things and persons around me....
are terribly boring
and lifeis a broken record called \"Ordinary\"
always playing back the same parts.
IF I, in my eccentric splendor
hop on a desk and jump around
before my peers and teacher
throwing my arms about my head
and chanting strongly to all who hear me,
\"I AM DIFFERENT, DIFFERENT!
I WAS MEANT TO BE DIFFERENT!
IS NORMAL ALL YOU KNOW??\"
If i admire the shock on their faces
the snickers
the laughs
against a teacher\'s amused
yet
disapproving stare
While shaking off the treacherous hold of normalacy
WHO can say that I am not....
the most sane being of them all.
