OMG, real media. *dies*

Half of my final for painting class (the other half isn't dry yet), I decided to mess with paints I had never used before- acrylics. And I must say... :: I.LOVE.THEM. :: They're fun and pretty and WHEEE!!!!! *dances* I'll be working with this stuff more often!

Anyway- I was listening to my soundtrack for Ecco: Defender of the Future (awesome friggin game) and this idea popped in my head. It even named after one of the levels! Anyway, my first attempt with something besides watercolor and tempera, and I am pleased. =3 *boogies*

The title of this pic caught my eye right away. Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the future is one of my favorite games. I want the soundtrack, but iPoor and internet dosn't have too many sources for the music.

You seem to do very well with acrylics =3 I love how you got the shine from the surface of the water just right on the rocks near the cave enterence =3

Funny thing that Ecco was just the first thing which came to my mind as I saw this piccie. Gawd I play too much videogames.

It's a very nice artwork -maybe the dolphin's face still isn't perfect, but in any case, I adore realistic artworks about everything else!

Dolphins are absolutely gorgeous, your skills with acrylics are great!

MizzKitty Says:

An A for sure. Beautiful piece of artwork! Nice job on the light coming through the water onto the dolphin!
