This is the first mask I made with the intention of selling (it has not yet sold, oddly enough). I completed it three years ago. I based the creature off of a goblin/gryffin sort of thing. To this day, I'm not sure what the creature is. It was used along with The Elder in "Beasts of Reason", where the character was interpreted as the social outcast - thus the title, "The Outsider".

The hairy part is actually kanekalon, a synthetic fiber that is generally used as wig hair, weave, etc. I did, in fact, attach that by hand.
You can't see the peacock feathers too well in this phoograph - they are simply a little touch of trim around the face.
